Season 9 end Loop the Lake (17 miles) 2:40:51 (9:39) Now embracing it. I am a double-bogey runner. Could not have asked for a better run! Excellent weather. Did not stop until half (2:05) to rub my feet. Felt great! Walked/Waddled the last four miles.

Red River Run 15k 1:28:20 (9:29) Felt really good. It is a trail run. Nice change of pace. Weather was very humid (week before ran half at 9:00).  Dick Beardsley Detroit Lakes 1:57:49 (9:00) Wonderful weather. Very happy with my run. did not stop but feet really bad last 3 miles.  Grand Forks 10mile/10k 1:34:57 (9:30) oh my. forgot to log this one and now on (09-08-2024) i remember little. remember feet hurting so bad i had very little hope for detroit lakes. it is okay past steven. it went really well.  Fargo Half Marathon 2:12:58 (10:09) I believe a resolution to the foot issue has been found. Foot docter fixed it. Was excited to run but physical health not good for a couple of months. Very disappointing. Great weather.  Soles n' motion 5/10 mile 1:32:02 (9:12) soleMOTION maiden voyage. I really hope it becomes an annual event. Perfect timing. nice venue. nice vibe. run path in lindenwood park. one loop = 5 miles.  Season 9 begins St Patrick's Day 5k/10k 53:55 (8:41) vowed to never run in snow again after this one last year. this year no snow. perfect roads but 25 mph winds.  end season 8 Loop the Lake 17 miles 2:48:53 (10:07) my, oh my, on my. last year 2:29:57 (8:59). 18 more minutes. wonderful weather. i felt great. i felt prepared. i forced myself to eat like a normal person all week - usually just friday :). I have a plausible explanation, but there is not enough space in this margin  1:57:36 (8:59) First run in my 60's Felt very good. Feet were bad but did not have to stop. Have not run Bismarck for several years. Now starts/ends on capital grounds. It is definitely a higher profile venue but it means the last three miles are uphill.  2:01:02 (9:15) At about 1 hour 20 minutes i stopped and took off my shoes. sat for 2 minutes. tightened shoes. started again. first time ever. Great weather and I felt really good. I believe I am now a double bogey runner.  10 Mile Run 1:31:57 (9:12) my results are not showing. going by my watch Great weather. 50s with no wind. cardio great. feet very bad. not sure i can go 2 hours.  So very tragic. not sure why (he did not know me) but i am devastated. has hit me very hard. He went for a bike ride. about 100 runners showed up at 7:30 am to run 10 miles. the 2:00 pm service at Hope was pretty much full.  Perham Turtle Fest 10k 55:11 (8:53) i won my age group 50-59. there were two of us. i was also the oldest person (59) running the 10k (30 people males and females). i need a solution to my shoe/foot issue. an avid fan would realize this is the first time in 50 running events (most half marathons) that I am wearing a different style of shoe. i have bought the same style of shoe for the last 50 events. you are all fake fans. Tried it here because 10k and not a 10 mile or half. did not go well. the search continues.  Lake Region 10 mile run 1:36:57 (9:42) Warm. felt good. feet did okay. slower pace than fargo marathon (9:24). need to come to terms with slower me.  Fargo Marathon 2:03:07 (9:24) great weather. felt good. thought i was doing better :) I started dead last. thought start time was 7:45. it was 7:30 Very slow navigating at the start. On the bright side, i passed 1500 people :).  Training run. new this year. 5,10,15,20 or miles. i opted to run 10 miles 1:30:17 (9:02) no chip it appears once around lake is 10 miles. felt good. will run again next year if able.  Season 8 begins LAP St. Patrick's Day 10K 54:08 (8:43) -16 with windchill. had right clothing but roads were very icy. should not have run. almost fell several times.  end season 7 Fargo Halloween Run (was Mini) 2:04:11 (9:29) Had not planned on running this one. Did not realize this was the mini. thought it was a 5k for Halloween. Was in shape going into this one but was once again sick. Great weather. good job steven :)  Loop the Lake 17 miles 2:29:57 (8:59) so very glad i decided to run this. excellent weather. excellent run. did not walk. time not on par with other seasons but this one was a big win for me.  1:54:31 (8:45) Excellent run. Have not felt this good for a couple of year. Prior to this run thinking i might be done running half-marathons. now reconsidering after this run. Wonderful weather.  Go Far Woman Half Marathon 1:58:33 (9:03) first time i have run this event. not allowed until this year (maybe last year?). very enjoyable. Unfortunately they announced this year was their final year. Interesting perspective for me. 131 women and 7 men.  10K (no half option) 53:40.5 (8:38) i really like this venue. not a fan of 10Ks. much rather do a half.  10 mile run 1:33:17 (9:20) Great weather. fargo half out of shape and sick. this run just out of shape. did not walk :) it appears half is no longer an option  Season 7 begins 2:17:46 (10:32) perfect weather. no training and not feeling well. first time i made a mental note of medic station. walked a lot. i would put this in the category of how i feel when i have to buy a bigger pair of pants :)  end season 6 Loop the Lake 17 miles 2:35:15 (9:18) forced myself to walk at two hour mark.  |
